With a large repertoire, covering many genre of music, Gemma adapts each performance to suit all occassions and events. Available either self- contained or with live musicians, Gemma amazes and elevates all audiences, and has recently received interest from Universal Records. Today, Gemma performs for important events, weddings, functions, corporate events, mayor's dinners, balls, casinos, theatres, clubs and restaurants to name a few.

Gemma enjoys performing with other entertainers, singers and musicians in addition to her solo performances.

Pop, Classical, Motown, Ballads, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Easy Listening, Club Classics, Contemporary Chart music, 1940s and more. Gemma caters to any song requests in advance and uses the finest audio and lighting equipment.

'Shades Of Katherine Jenkins' Tribute show

Also available, is a fantastic spine-tingling Katherine Jenkins style show.

Gemma performs a selection of Katherine Jenkin's most successful songs, including; 'Time To Say Goodbye', 'O Mio Babbino Caro', 'Nessun Dorma', 'Ave Maria', 'Pie Jesu', 'Nella Fantasia', 'Panis Angelicus' and 'Carrickfergus' to name a few. Complete with stunning gowns, Gemma acts like the artiste herself.

This show is available in the following various lengths:

• As a 30 minute tribute to Katherine Jenkins
• As a 45 minute or a full hour tribute to Katherine Jenkins
• As part of an evening performance, with one set a tribute to Katherine Jenkins and a later performance of pop, motown, etc. (lively music or ballads)
• As part of an evening performance, with one half an hour set as a tribute to Katherine Jenkins and two later 30 minute performances of pop, motown, etc. (lively music or ballads)
• A full evening show in the style of Katherine Jenkins, consisting of two 45 minute performances, with an interval in between.

Complimentary background music of your choice can be played before, inbetween and after performances. A disco can also be provided after any bookings, for a small charge.

Biography

Gemma Louise Doyle was born in Lancashire, England to a music-loving family and has always enjoyed performing.  At the age of just three-years, she sang on stage at The Metro Centre in Newcastle during a family day out, having asked her mum if she could take part in the showcase! Gemma was born with talent and wanted to be the star of the show throughout nursery school, primary school and grammar school. However, she often found that there were very few opportunities and her talent remained undiscovered to all that knew her.

After taking part in her first major talent contest at the age of nine, Gemma asked to start having private singing tuition in addition to her keyboard lessons and started taking her musical abilities and ambitions more seriously. From that point, Gemma's singing continued to improve dramatically and each year she performed more and more, winning talent competitions and amazing audiences (including  her family at first). Gradually, Gemma became more relaxed and enjoyed recieving great responses from onlookers.

It was not until the age of 17, that Gemma began performing more classical songs, in addition to the ballads and chart music. It was then that she really stood out from the rest and discovered her forte. She gave a live performance on American Idol at Hollywood Studios, Florida in 2010. Gemma won a talent competition at The G Casino, Blackpool which led to her being booked their on Valentine's Day and on ocassional Saturday evenings. Around the same time, Gemma won a competition in Blackburn, performing in the amazing King George's Hall. As a result of her efforts in competitions, showcases and other exposure, Gemma wowed radio presenters from a variety of stations. This led to her working with Preston FM, Bolton FM, and The Bee Radio. Over a couple of years, she sang and presented live on Preston FM, performed at many prestigious events and roadshows with Bolton FM, created studio recordings, audio recordings and performed at large venues for The Bee Radio and The Blackburn Lions. Gemma says “I am very grateful for the support I have received, particularly from Dorothy, Alan and Kevan- the managers at Bolton FM and the DBBC”

Having being asked to perform for weddings, functions and at restaurants by members of the public, Gemma decided to become a professional singer. Today, Gemma performs for important events, weddings, functions, corporate events, mayor's dinners, balls, casinos, theatres, clubs and restaurants to name a few.

Gemma enjoys performing with other entertainers, singers and musicians in addition to her solo performances. This experience includes performances with the production teams and resident bands onboard cruise ships: 'Royal Caribbean's' - 'Freedom Of The Seas', 'The Island Star' and 'The Norwegian Epic'.

Gemma rehearses with her own musicians for certain events and also regularly performs with resident bands at a variety of venues. In November 2011 Gemma performed at The Bolton Christmas Lights Switch-on, in-front of thousands of spectators. The mayor and councillors of Bolton are currently friends of and working with Gemma.
